The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew De la Torre in the 3rd minute of play forced Real Solymar FC's goalkeeper Rolando Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 5 in the game by Traian Chelaru from a close distance when the talented Rolando Carreira managed to make a qualified save. Real Solymar FC's players were relieved. Matthew De la Torre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Rolando Carreira made a huge save. After having played for 12 minutes, Vinicio Turrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Turrilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthew De la Torre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rolando Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match, Vinicio Turrilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Carreira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Carreira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Txema Torres. After having played for 22 minutes, Traian Chelaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Chelaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Abril kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Salelles's goal looked a bit too open when Xusto Morcego came free, but Giuseppe Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Traian Chelaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Carreira. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. In the 45th minute, Currito Echavarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xusto Morcego to strike the kick off in the second half. Mateo Blazquez charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Blazquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 53 minutes into the match, Traian Chelaru notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Real Solymar FC's Rolando Carreira. Rolando Carreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 minutes of play, Salelles's Vinicio Turrilla made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Carreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Traian Chelaru struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rolando Carreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salelles. Giuseppe Silveira made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Mateo Blazquez sent off a good shot on target. Real Solymar FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Salelles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haitz Palencia took the corner. A collision led to Real Solymar FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Antonio Saura hit a great ball. Real Solymar FC's Nando Jurado was substituted for Imanol Ponce. After 66 played minutes Real Solymar FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Saura. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Solymar FC's goalkeeper Rolando Carreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Matthew De la Torre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Carreira was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Vinicio Turrilla made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Carreira. Real Solymar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Real Solymar FC's Xusto Morcego got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mateo Blazquez got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 84th match minute, Real Solymar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Blazquez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Jurado during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Salelles booed when Real Solymar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Jurado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew De la Torre kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Matthew De la Torre might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Carreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthew De la Torre ran back to his position shaking his head. Traian Chelaru struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rolando Carreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salelles. There was no doubt that Salelles were the better team. Salelles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
