Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Ramos started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Peña FC's Claudio Prats got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alexis Salinas came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Jofre could save by the left post. Alexis Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Jofre having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Peña FC got a freekick which was hit by Licerio Villafane. After 11 minutes, Misael Lastras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peña FC and the Unión Deportiva Lanzarote players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Peña FC's Pedro Jofre got control of the ball when Alexis Salinas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Peña FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Orobio came free, but Pedro Jofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peña FC's Pedro Jofre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Peña FC from getting a goal against them. Alexis Salinas in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Jofre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Jofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Orobio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peña FC's zone, Alexis Salinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Jofre came out of the goal and Alexis Salinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Jofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Orobio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Claudio Prats was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Claudio Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Alexis Salinas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Jofre firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pablo Palomar kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Unión Deportiva Lanzarote's Austin Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ramos in the 36th minute of play. Miguel Polido kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ibon Vilanova, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Jofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexis Salinas in the 42nd minute. Pedro Jofre was a little too slow when Victor Orobio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexis Salinas to make the kick off. The supporters of Unión Deportiva Lanzarote booed when Peña FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulin Cifuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Unión Deportiva Lanzarote's Alexis Salinas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Jofre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Unión Deportiva Lanzarote's Amador Rivas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pedro Jofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Campillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Jofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Orobio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Peña FC defense, Mattæus Landsgaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Jofre. The Peña FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Jofre should have stopped the shot. When Alexis Salinas came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Unión Deportiva Lanzarote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Salinas couldn't finish the play. Peña FC's José Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, José Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Alexis Salinas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Jofre. Peña FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Salinas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 84th minute, Victor Orobio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Unión Deportiva Lanzarote's Victor Orobio fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. José Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peña FC's Pedro Jofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Salinas in the 94th minute of play. Alexis Salinas took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Jofre. Pedro Jofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Unión Deportiva Lanzarote players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
