The audience was convinced that Kobe Bryant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Arribas was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Zeledon Arribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kobe Bryant, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes Zestoa FT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nechifor Hârșu who took care of the corner kick. After recieving a nice pass, Zestoa FT's Santxo Campoamor tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Ona Somrient FC's goalkeeper Claude Erosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santxo Campoamor. 38 minutes into the match, Zestoa FT's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Bryant came free, but Zeledon Arribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Zestoa FT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meng Ke to maneuver through the defense. Kobe Bryant might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Arribas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kobe Bryant ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludvig Hedling to strike the kick off in the second half. Kobe Bryant took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Arribas. Zeledon Arribas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Zeledon Arribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobe Bryant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ona Somrient FC's Fernan Alcantara was substituted for Silvano Montes. Gartzen Huarte kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Zestoa FT got a freekick which was hit by Shane Tetley. In the 87th minute Kobe Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Arribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Zestoa FT's Zeledon Arribas got control of the ball when Fernan Alcantara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Ludvig Hedling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claude Erosa. Ona Somrient FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludvig Hedling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kobe Bryant in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Arribas saved Zestoa FT from getting behind.
