Kevin Verdu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Pasteral F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Asdrubal Prieto was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético de Sagunto's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Asdrubal Prieto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Pasteral F.C's Kevin Verdu did a great save. When Grant Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Atlético de Sagunto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Cabezon couldn't finish the play. In the 35th match minute, Atlético de Sagunto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlo Fuster to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th match minute, El Pasteral F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chus Saavedra to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Verdu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Sagunto's Asdrubal Prieto. But to his dismay, Asdrubal Prieto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the El Pasteral F.C defense, Asdrubal Prieto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Verdu. The El Pasteral F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Verdu should have stopped the shot. The El Pasteral F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético de Sagunto were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asdrubal Prieto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uriel Silvestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Zenon Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmanuel Soler hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Grant Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Verdu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grant Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grant Cabezon during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Grant Cabezon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Verdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlo Fuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Asdrubal Prieto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Atlético de Sagunto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asdrubal Prieto couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Pasteral F.C's goalkeeper Kevin Verdu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, El Pasteral F.C's Kevin Verdu got control of the ball when Grant Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karlo Fuster took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Verdu. Kevin Verdu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 87th minute of the match Atlético de Sagunto got a corner. El Pasteral F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Asdrubal Prieto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marc Cucurull almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Pasteral F.C's Kevin Verdu did a great save. Kevin Verdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asdrubal Prieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético de Sagunto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Asdrubal Prieto in the 97th minute. The El Pasteral F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético de Sagunto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
