If Roberto Peto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sperides's Hibai Olano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matxin Abellan in the 63rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Lucero Mezquita sped through Roche's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Slavoj Bělík. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Darling in the 68th minute of play forced Roche's goalkeeper Slavoj Bělík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
