After some careless play in the Rayo Tharkad defense, Urtungo Santander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Snäll. The Rayo Tharkad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Snäll should have stopped the shot. Cañamero C.F.'s Misael Solera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Cañamero C.F. from getting a goal against them. Rayo Tharkad's Hondo Arratia got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Rayo Tharkad's goal looked a bit too open when Urtungo Santander came free, but Rune Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Cañamero C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Lacorte came free, but Misael Solera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cañamero C.F.'s Misael Solera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Cañamero C.F. from getting a goal against them. Misael Solera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 24th minute. But to his dismay, Hondo Arratia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rune Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radja Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Manolito Appe sped through Rayo Tharkad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Snäll. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 44th minute of play forced Cañamero C.F.'s goalkeeper Misael Solera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gai Izaguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Tharkad's supporters rose to their feet, but Gai Izaguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Misael Solera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Cañamero C.F. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manolo Lacorte made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 51st minute of play forced Cañamero C.F.'s goalkeeper Misael Solera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Rayo Tharkad's goal looked a bit too open when Radja Head came free, but Rune Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayo Tharkad's Rune Snäll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Rayo Tharkad from getting a goal against them. Rune Snäll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolito Appe's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hondo Arratia in the 72nd minute of play forced Cañamero C.F.'s goalkeeper Misael Solera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Cañamero C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Aras Baysoy. Cañamero C.F.'s Misael Solera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 76th minute of play.
