An unexpectedly hard shot by Cortez Morera in the 80th minute of play forced Junta De Los Rios CF's goalkeeper Amuruza Lillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Junta De Los Rios CF defense, Cortez Morera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amuruza Lillo. The Junta De Los Rios CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amuruza Lillo should have stopped the shot. Junta De Los Rios CF's Tipi Riells was substituted for Ricardo Carballido.
