Liu Kuan Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Penkalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Meliana's Marco-Antonio Nunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 康伟斐 in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Meliana's Marco-Antonio Nunez got control of the ball when 康伟斐 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco-Antonio Nunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 康伟斐, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Penkalski in the 22nd minute of play forced CF Fortuna's goalkeeper Liu Kuan Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Joakim Lindholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liu Kuan Peng was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF Fortuna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nesto Camara was slow to take the kick. During this time Meliana's players had a chance to rest. Meliana's Lorenz Santos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Liu Kuan Peng in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Meliana's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Proença came free, but Marco-Antonio Nunez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcolm Castledine's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco-Antonio Nunez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marco-Antonio Nunez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Lindholm in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liu Kuan Peng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco-Antonio Nunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Joakim Lindholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Fortuna's Liu Kuan Peng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joakim Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 康伟斐 was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 康伟斐 in the 51st minute of play forced Meliana's goalkeeper Marco-Antonio Nunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nesto Camara came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Meliana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nesto Camara couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Joakim Lindholm had several of the CF Fortuna's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Liu Kuan Peng as he didn't even see the shot coming. Liu Kuan Peng made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Nesto Camara sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Joakim Lindholm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Liu Kuan Peng, 0-2. Joakim Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent-Are Silden's late challenge caught a Meliana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent-Are Silden helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Meliana booed when CF Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent-Are Silden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute 康伟斐 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco-Antonio Nunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CF Fortuna fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when CF Fortuna's 康伟斐 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, CF Fortuna's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Lindholm came free, but Liu Kuan Peng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CF Fortuna booed when Meliana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Castledine was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Liu Kuan Peng came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Meliana's Lucjan Penkalski. But to his dismay, Lucjan Penkalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 94th minute, Iulian Glodeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aristides Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The CF Fortuna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Meliana's performance. The match ended with a win for Meliana.
