The LIVERPOOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eufemio Valverde should have stopped the shot. LIVERPOOL's Eufemio Valverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Rallo in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pepito Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xesc Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufemio Valverde having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riemannian's goalkeeper Severino Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Pepito Barral made a precise shot to the right of Severino Fernandez. Riemannian's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. LIVERPOOL played a much better game than Riemannian and deserved their victory. The Riemannian players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
