A wasted opportunity for Armilla. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armilla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pierre Fankhauser was slow to take the kick. During this time Alcorcón A.D.A's players had a chance to rest. Pierre Fankhauser made a great header on Alcorcón A.D.A's corner, it was just that Armilla's Froilan Dimas managed to reach the ball for a save. Armilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Sidoro in the 40th minute. The corner ended in Santiago Sidoro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alcorcón A.D.A's Dida Ramalho did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Cyrille N'Diaye during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Armilla getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jean-Cyrille N'Diaye hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Sidoro to make the kick off. With a little luck, Alcorcón A.D.A's Dida Ramalho got control of the ball when Nick Reid tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Marcial Aceves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armilla's Froilan Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cruz in the 61st minute of play. Froilan Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Aceves, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Armilla made a substitution. Valery Grau replaced Thiago Nueva. In the 75th match minute, Armilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Høj to maneuver through the defense. Alcorcón A.D.A's Dida Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Alcorcón A.D.A from getting a goal against them. Valery Grau took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Ramalho. Dida Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 86th minute, Roberto Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcial Aceves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcorcón A.D.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Aceves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Dimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Armilla's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Cruz came free, but Froilan Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Armilla's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Armilla may have spent more time on the ball, but Alcorcón A.D.A were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
