In the 15th minute, Matia Climent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Poncio Abellan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Puerto de Sagunto CF's Francisco José Millán in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Senatus Populus Que Roman's goalie prevented a goal. Poncio Abellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matia Climent, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes Senatus Populus Que Roman got a freekick which was hit by Zbyhněv Agyemang-Badu. In the 26th minute of the match Edu Gaspar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Poncio Abellan skillfully saved the ball. Richmond Van Glabeeke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Senatus Populus Que Roman's Cheche Rubiero got a free kick in the 30th minute. Zbyhněv Agyemang-Badu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Edu Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 34th minute of play forced Senatus Populus Que Roman's goalkeeper Poncio Abellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Puerto de Sagunto CF were awarded a corner. Edu Gaspar went to the cornerflag to take it. Senatus Populus Que Roman's Poncio Abellan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Poncio Abellan saved Senatus Populus Que Roman from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Roland Burdzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Poncio Abellan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Poncio Abellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco José Millán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Senatus Populus Que Roman's José Fontan was substituted for Güneş Oral. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mastur Bassi to strike the kick off in the second half. Poncio Abellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matia Climent in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Richmond Van Glabeeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poncio Abellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Francisco José Millán made a precise shot to the right of Poncio Abellan. Senatus Populus Que Roman's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Poncio Abellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco José Millán in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Richmond Van Glabeeke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Puerto de Sagunto CF made a substitution. Doroteo Astudillo replaced Florentino Checa. Poncio Abellan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Francisco José Millán sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Senatus Populus Que Roman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyhněv Agyemang-Badu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Senatus Populus Que Roman's Poncio Abellan got control of the ball when Francisco José Millán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Poncio Abellan was a little too slow when Richmond Van Glabeeke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Puerto de Sagunto CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Senatus Populus Que Roman.
