The audience thought a goal was coming when Carles Miramont got free with Ponc Gómez in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Carles Miramont recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ponc Gómez. Carles Miramont showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espiridion Manrique in the 25th minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Albert Canyelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on León FC's corner Galsino Barba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albert Canyelles quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleix Rosanes to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hawk Football Club's zone, Galsino Barba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Canyelles came out of the goal and Galsino Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Mateo Rivas in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by León FC's Romulo Jaen. 76 minutes into the match, León FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaume Vilardell came free, but Ponc Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. León FC's Ponc Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaume Vilardell in the 78th minute of play. Ponc Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaume Vilardell, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Jaume Vilardell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponc Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaume Vilardell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, León FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaume Vilardell came free, but Ponc Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th match minute, León FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the León FC defense, Jaume Vilardell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ponc Gómez. The León FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ponc Gómez should have stopped the shot.
