Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 7th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Eloi Fontanella put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Albert Canyelles. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Macia in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Athletico Picapedrense's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Macia came free, but Jesus Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pascual Macia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Canyelles came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov. But to his dismay, Hristo Stoichkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hristo Stoichkov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Albert Canyelles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaume Vilardell took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Sayveon. Jesus Sayveon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Juanito Gabucio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Carles Miramont in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jesus Sayveon's left hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Carles Miramont made the kick off in the second half. Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 51st minute of play. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carles Miramont in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hristo Stoichkov in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Canyelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Canyelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristo Stoichkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Eloi Fontanella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Canyelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Sayveon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Macia in the 69th minute. Jesus Sayveon made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Pascual Macia sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Hristo Stoichkov made a precise shot to the right of Albert Canyelles. Red Hawk Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Lorenzo Jubera replaced Horaţiu Crăiță. Athletico Picapedrense's Orlondo Aguado was substituted for Hristo Stoichkov. Red Hawk Football Club made a substitution. Aleix Rosanes replaced Carles Miramont. Red Hawk Football Club's Ferran Planes was substituted for Jaume Vilardell. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Zenon Klewinski replaced Reno Cartagena. Aleix Rosanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Eloi Fontanella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Eloi Fontanella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Albert Canyelles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleix Rosanes got free with Jesus Sayveon in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Aleix Rosanes sped through Athletico Picapedrense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Sayveon. Red Hawk Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
