Máximo Maestro came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia. But to his dismay, Renato Tapia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes in the game Xose Jorquera did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Millán Valdés. Lluis Folch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pepe Toxeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Renato Tapia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Máximo Maestro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xose Jorquera hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Renato Tapia could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Máximo Maestro however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Real Armal F.C.'s Lluis Folch got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Serapio Baños. After 31 minutes, Renato Tapia made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Real Armal F.C.'s Máximo Maestro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Guillermo Marin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Máximo Maestro, passed just outside the right post. Renato Tapia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Máximo Maestro made a huge save. Renato Tapia might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Maestro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Tapia ran back to his position shaking his head. Máximo Maestro made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Renato Tapia sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Guillermo Marin got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lluis Folch made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Tapia to maneuver through the defense. Renato Tapia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Maestro having to interfere. Eder Mangas made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Poli Urquijo. After 63 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Gasso. In the 64th minute, Renato Tapia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Maestro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 67th minute, Renato Tapia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Renato Tapia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Maestro. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Maestro should have stopped the shot. Máximo Maestro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Tapia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Máximo Maestro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Tapia's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 75th play minutes Renato Tapia shot 8-1, a short shot which went by Máximo Maestro and just under the crossbar into goal. Everardo Arias took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Maestro. Máximo Maestro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. Millán Valdés hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Everardo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Máximo Maestro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Nestor Araujo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eder Mangas, made in the 87th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Renato Tapia made a precise shot to the right of Máximo Maestro. Real Armal F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. Máximo Maestro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Arias in the 98th minute of the match.
