The supporters of Germany booed when ★RO★ NEW VISION ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Băcila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Lucrețiu Novăceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Lucrețiu Novăceanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Petre Reznic got a free kick in the 7th minute. Panait Hoduț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of play. After 22nd play minutes Frank Sachs shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Panait Hoduț and just under the crossbar into goal. Panait Hoduț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 28th minute of the match. ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Panait Hoduț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 32nd minute of play. ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Panait Hoduț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Ţintă, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Panait Hoduț made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panait Hoduț. Albin Holweck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 64th minute, ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albin Holweck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 65th minute of play forced ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s goalkeeper Panait Hoduț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Panait Hoduț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albin Holweck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Panait Hoduț came out and tried to block the shot, but Albin Holweck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 70th minute. Panait Hoduț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Linus Schwerner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Ţintă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panait Hoduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Dreifuss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panait Hoduț. Panait Hoduț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Panait Hoduț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Panait Hoduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Dreifuss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. The ★RO★ NEW VISION ® fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Germany were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
