The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kirstein Skovø made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Igor Labo sent off a good shot on target. If Igor Labo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Flodman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirstein Skovø having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Chelsea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigfred Purcell to maneuver through the defense. Kirstein Skovø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Flodman in the 9th minute of play. Igor Labo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kirstein Skovø firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alex Flodman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kirstein Skovø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chelsea FC's Per Felgenhauer got a free kick in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Kurt Elboth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bederslev's Fritz Elken. Fritz Elken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kirstein Skovø was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulo Frising. After 25 minutes, Igor Labo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chelsea FC's Kirstein Skovø tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's Ali Spaunfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fritz Elken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Labo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Kirstein Skovø made a huge save. Chelsea FC were furious when Per Felgenhauer was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Per Felgenhauer hit a great ball. Bederslev's Kurth Weinholt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chelsea FC. Alex Flodman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kirstein Skovø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigfred Purcell charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigfred Purcell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Sigfred Purcell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Kirstein Skovø had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Labo. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Spaunfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Flodman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirstein Skovø having to interfere. Kirstein Skovø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Labo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kirstein Skovø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Labo in the 61st minute of the match. Alex Flodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Igor Labo made a precise shot to the right of Kirstein Skovø. Chelsea FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Kirstein Skovø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolas Kiellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bederslev's Igor Labo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Labo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chelsea FC booed when Bederslev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolas Kiellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sigfred Purcell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
