Imran Skarsø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Faster's Mattæus Brody got a free kick in the 21st minute. Kærup AC's Joakim Ekrot got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elmar Slifsgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Hemming Lindholmer put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Imran Skarsø. 29 minutes into the match, Faster's goal looked a bit too open when Hemming Lindholmer came free, but Imran Skarsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imran Skarsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Ekrot in the 36th minute of play. Hemming Lindholmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Imran Skarsø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hemming Lindholmer ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Ekrot in the 45th minute of play forced Faster's goalkeeper Imran Skarsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattæus Brody to strike the kick off in the second half. Joakim Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imran Skarsø having to interfere. Micael Tengvad charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Joakim Ekrot struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Imran Skarsø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kærup AC. With an all-out effort, Kærup AC's Imran Skarsø threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joakim Ekrot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Ostrowski got free with Imran Skarsø in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Leonard Ostrowski fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kærup AC's protests and gave Leonard Ostrowski a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Mattæus Brody managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattæus Brody was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kærup AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
