After 12 played minutes Saarup FC got a freekick which was hit by Mourits Gudjohnsen. 16 minutes into the match, Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Nik Myrinell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Eglund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Kullgren in the 17th minute of play forced Saarup FC's goalkeeper Richard Eglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Nik Myrinell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nik Myrinell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Georg Bræmdal had to leave the field with a concussion. When Villy Sannemann fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saarup FC's protests and gave Villy Sannemann a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saarup FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Eddie Gallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hirtshals Mighty Bulls from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Saarup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Kullgren came free, but Richard Eglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saarup FC's Richard Eglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Kullgren in the 34th minute of play. The Hirtshals Mighty Bulls fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Anders Kullgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Anders Kullgren came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Hirtshals Mighty Bulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Kullgren couldn't finish the play. Thorfinn Nielbjerg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Eglund having to make a save. When Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Anders Kullgren in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saarup FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thøger Tolvstein during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Kullgren made a kick off. Mourits Gudjohnsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Gallin having to interfere. Richard Eglund came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Anders Kullgren. But to his dismay, Anders Kullgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Hagbard Røhling fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's protests and gave Hagbard Røhling a yellow card for diving instead. Eddie Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourits Gudjohnsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Nik Myrinell got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Eddie Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villy Sannemann in the 63rd minute of play. Eddie Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Vrads in the 65th minute of play. When Hirtshals Mighty Bulls's Anders Kullgren in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Richard Eglund guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 73rd minute Mourits Gudjohnsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Eglund was a little too slow when Anders Kullgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Anders Kullgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute of the match Hirtshals Mighty Bulls got a corner. Saarup FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thorfinn Nielbjerg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Thorfinn Nielbjerg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saarup FC's Richard Eglund did a great save. Eddie Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourits Gudjohnsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Richard Eglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Kullgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hirtshals Mighty Bulls booed when Saarup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Etwil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Hirtshals Mighty Bulls could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saarup FC throughout the match.
