Jørg Kærn took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jes Briholt. Jes Briholt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonatan Røgild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jes Briholt having to interfere. Jørg Kærn struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jes Briholt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leithoff. After 25 minutes of play, Leithoff's Piet Knopper made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jes Briholt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jørg Kærn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rønde's goalkeeper Jes Briholt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Riche's late challenge caught a Leithoff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Riche helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the match, Stephen Skjolden notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rønde's Jes Briholt. Jes Briholt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baltazar Bahner kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jes Briholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørg Kærn, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jes Briholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Røgild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltazar Bahner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fred Strong in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jes Briholt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fred Strongs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Jes Briholt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fred Strong's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Jes Briholt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonatan Røgild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jørg Kærn came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jes Briholt could save by the left post. If Jonatan Røgild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leithoff's Fred Strong got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Fred Strong made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Rønde's Jes Briholt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jørg Kærn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Rønde's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Strong came free, but Jes Briholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rønde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leithoff were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
