After 8 played minutes, Udbyovre's Osvald Aunsholt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laurits Mirbell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Udbyovre reached it. 9 minutes into the match, Torup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Mickey Rugbæk came free, but Laurits Mirbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palle Starner might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurits Mirbell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Palle Starner ran back to his position shaking his head. Roar Erbing kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Torup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Panum to maneuver through the defense. Rikki Wallstrøm charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rikki Wallstrøm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Udbyovre got a freekick which was hit by Rikki Wallstrøm. Palle Starner took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurits Mirbell. Laurits Mirbell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Udbyovre's Mikki Schjerbeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Panum in the 30th minute of play. When Haakon Trojaborg came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Torup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haakon Trojaborg couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Torup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Mickey Rugbæk came free, but Laurits Mirbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk Bukballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bjørn Løfstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurits Mirbell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikki Wallstrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Mikki Schjerbeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dirk Bukballe's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Udbyovre's zone, Ronni Arnsholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikki Schjerbeck came out of the goal and Ronni Arnsholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Torup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Eyvind Siverson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk Bukballe in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikki Schjerbeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Mickey Rugbæk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurits Mirbell. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Dirk Bukballe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Bukballe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Haakon Trojaborg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torup SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Haakon Trojaborg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikki Schjerbeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Dirk Bukballe in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Laurits Mirbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Rugbæk in the 77th minute of play. Laurits Mirbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Thorhave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Haakon Trojaborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikki Schjerbeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dirk Bukballe's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Dirk Bukballe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikki Schjerbeck was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Udbyovre's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Bukballe came free, but Mikki Schjerbeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Haakon Trojaborg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haakon Trojaborg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk Bukballe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikki Schjerbeck having to make a save. The Torup SIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Udbyovre's performance. The match ended with a win for Udbyovre.
