An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurits Bibæk in the 22nd minute of play forced Mejlby IK's goalkeeper Reinhard Huginnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Maurits Bibæk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reinhard Huginnson. Maurits Bibæk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Morgan Konge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Huginnson having to interfere. Marco Cervidae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Huginnson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Morgan Konge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinhard Huginnson was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Nickolaj Etzerodt's late challenge caught a Gydeby FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hektor Hargaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Mejlby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Maurits Bibæk came free, but Reinhard Huginnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maurits Bibæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Morgan Konge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Huginnson having to interfere. When Maurits Bibæk came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Gydeby FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurits Bibæk couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Morgan Konge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Huginnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mejlby IK's Reinhard Huginnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurits Bibæk in the 67th minute of play. Reinhard Huginnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Cervidae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morgan Konge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Reinhard Huginnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morgan Konge struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Reinhard Huginnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gydeby FV. Reinhard Huginnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurits Bibæk in the 81st minute of play. Maurits Bibæk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Reinhard Huginnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mejlby IK's Hektor Hargaard got a free kick in the 94th minute.
