Mikkel Sørby scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clas Danehjort, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Lynge's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Grinyer came free, but Clas Danehjort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 12 minutes on the clock, Gynter Helbro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Sillesthoved SIK a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. After having played for 20 minutes, Filip Kørbing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lynge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Kørbing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filip Kørbing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Kørbing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tavs Aidt made a huge save. Clas Danehjort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Netra in the 30th minute of play. Clas Danehjort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Grinyer went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Lynge's Filip Kørbing managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Louis Hørmand in the 37 minute of the game. Filip Kørbing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tavs Aidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Kørbing in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tavs Aidt saved Sillesthoved SIK from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

52 minutes into the game, Lynge's Arne Lousdal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tavs Aidt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Sillesthoved SIK's Tavs Aidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Burrows in the 67th minute of play. Filip Kørbing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Ernst Burrows got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Filip Kørbing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Kørbing might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tavs Aidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
