The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Charley Glit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Toke Galsby managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Frida's supporters rose to their feet, but Toke Galsby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Tvilling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Rufus Gustavson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Frida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gesager FV the free kick. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Gesager FV. Fritz Rosnæs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Micky Porsbjørn. 0-1. If Nicolas Reiter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Fridal kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gesager FV's Nicolas Reiter got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Kjeld Ralsgaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Micky Porsbjørn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Gesager FV's goal looked a bit too open when Toke Galsby came free, but Kåre Tvilling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Micky Porsbjørn managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Gesager FV's Nicolas Reiter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the match, FC Frida's goalkeeper Micky Porsbjørn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Reiter. If Toke Galsby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Gesager FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas København to maneuver through the defense. Micky Porsbjørn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjeld Ralsgaard in the 66th minute of play. Nicolas Reiter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micky Porsbjørn having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Gesager FV got a freekick which was hit by Iver Klarstrup. Dan Drengsgaard charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Drengsgaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Gesager FV got a freekick which was hit by Dan Drengsgaard. FC Frida's Micky Porsbjørn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjeld Ralsgaard in the 85th minute of play. Nicolas Reiter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Micky Porsbjørn made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gesager FV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
