Malek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kjargaard the free kick. A collision led to Malek FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Oliver Riedel hit a great ball. Rico Skjoldnæs made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Stig Brincker sent off a good shot on target. After 20 minutes, Emil Meidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjargaard and the Malek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Meidal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kjargaard getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kenney Kalhave hit a great ball. Malek FC's Rico Skjoldnæs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Elmestad in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Malek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Riedel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Malek FC's Gregor Pank got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes, Kjargaard's Harold Strømback shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rico Skjoldnæs came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kjargaard reached it. In the 40th minute, Sigurt Alter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 minutes, Harold Strømback mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjargaard and the Malek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Kjargaard got a freekick which was hit by Harold Strømback. Harold Strømback hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Riedel in the 46th minute of play forced Kjargaard's goalkeeper Jozef Pasarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Malek FC were awarded a corner. Jack Hollensberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After 48 played minutes Malek FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Pank. In the 48th minute, Malek FC's Gregor Pank fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Jozef Pasarell was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Riedel to strike the kick off in the second half. When Malek FC's Gregor Pank in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kjargaard's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute Bjørn Ørvald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Skjoldnæs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Kjargaard were awarded a corner. Harold Strømback went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Malek FC's goalie and right to Philip Witzleben. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Malek FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rico Skjoldnæs came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Kjargaard's Bjørn Ørvald. But to his dismay, Bjørn Ørvald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjørn Ørvald in the 61st minute of play forced Malek FC's goalkeeper Rico Skjoldnæs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Kjargaard got a freekick which was hit by Gerdt Avnbøg. Rico Skjoldnæs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Elmestad in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute Stig Brincker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Skjoldnæs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjargaard's Clas Eskilde was substituted for Per Elmestad. The Kjargaard fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Kjargaard's Stig Brincker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rico Skjoldnæs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjørn Ørvald in the 89th minute of the match. Bjørn Ørvald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rico Skjoldnæs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjørn Ørvald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
