After a rather tough play, Karup's Kjeld Tuells got a free kick in the 5th minute. Iver Varving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Isak Gildorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iver Varving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Kjeld Lasvill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karup and the Nyby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Nyby FC's Iver Varving in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karup's goalie prevented a goal. Iver Varving might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isak Gildorf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iver Varving ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Karup's Isak Gildorf got control of the ball when Arvid Bergkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nyby FC's Edvard Kortzau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Lademann in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Nyby FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Bladbjerg. In the 33rd minute Simon Lademann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Kortzau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Gildorf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iver Varving in the 36th minute of play. If Detlef Dauth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Detlef Dauth made a precise shot to the right of Edvard Kortzau. Nyby FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Simon Lademann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Kortzau having to interfere. Edvard Kortzau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Detlef Dauth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 49 minutes Karup's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timm Ross who took care of the corner kick. Christoffer Tardum was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iver Varving to make the kick off. With a little luck, Nyby FC's Edvard Kortzau got control of the ball when Simon Lademann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nyby FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Detlef Dauth scored to the left of an out of position Edvard Kortzau, making the score, 0-2. In the 72nd minute of the match Timm Ross shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isak Gildorf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edvard Kortzau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Detlef Dauth in the 81st minute of the match. Iver Varving's late challenge caught a Karup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iver Varving helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nyby FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Iver Varving hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karup's zone, Iver Varving stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isak Gildorf came out of the goal and Iver Varving tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Iver Varving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Jimmy Bladbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karup's Simon Lademann got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iver Varving fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Gildorf having to interfere. The Karup players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
