The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lavrits Grølsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Marko Sambleben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taastrup's Timmy Bregnsholdt suffered a sore foot after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klement Ellingsen during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Taastrup booed when FC Pace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Ellingsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigfrid Fejlstrøm struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Volmar Froda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pace. If Lavritz Lytzenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lavritz Lytzenstein was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Max Anslev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orla Farvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marko Sambleben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Taastrup getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Orla Farvig hit a great ball. Sigfrid Fejlstrøm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Volmar Froda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sigfrid Fejlstrøm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volmar Froda having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigfrid Fejlstrøm in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volmar Froda saved Taastrup from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Taastrup's Orla Farvig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marko Sambleben narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orla Farvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Sambleben having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lavritz Lytzenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pace's supporters rose to their feet, but Lavritz Lytzenstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volmar Froda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Folmar Bhægaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taastrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Folmar Bhægaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Sambleben breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, FC Pace's goalkeeper Marko Sambleben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orla Farvig. Volmar Froda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lavritz Lytzenstein in the 86th minute of the match. Orla Farvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taastrup players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Pace.
