Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) When Max Anslev fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taastrup's protests and gave Max Anslev a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Taastrup got a freekick which was hit by Max Anslev. Egelund's Laust Degnegaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Egelund from getting a goal against them. After 12 minutes, Niko Motzkus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egelund and the Taastrup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niko Motzkus hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Pelle Kjelsholt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Volmar Froda. Taastrup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelle Kjelsholt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lavrits Grølsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Taastrup booed when Egelund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Motzkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orla Farvig got free with Laust Degnegaard in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laust Degnegaard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lavrits Grølsted's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Lavrits Grølsted took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laust Degnegaard. Laust Degnegaard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Egelund's Pelle Kjelsholt got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lavrits Grølsted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laust Degnegaard having to interfere. Frode Fahrendorff struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Volmar Froda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egelund. Lavrits Grølsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Lavrits Grølsted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laust Degnegaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lavrits Grølsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lavrits Grølsted to strike the kick off in the second half. Lavrits Grølsted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laust Degnegaard having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Taastrup's Asbjørn Eilstorp got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Frode Fahrendorff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Hasse Stollenwærk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Orla Farvig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orla Farvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Orla Farvig made a precise shot to the right of Laust Degnegaard. Egelund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Flemming Naschou fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taastrup's protests and gave Flemming Naschou a yellow card for diving instead. The audience held their breath when Amadeus Magelund in the 79th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Volmar Froda's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavrits Grølsted in the 81st minute of play forced Egelund's goalkeeper Laust Degnegaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laust Degnegaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orla Farvig in the 82nd minute of play. Lavrits Grølsted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Egelund's zone, Orla Farvig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laust Degnegaard came out of the goal and Orla Farvig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Taastrup's Lavrits Grølsted in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Egelund's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Taastrup's Flemming Naschou got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taastrup fans cheered their team off the field, for while Egelund had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
