The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bøje Hassebjerg during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute Jozef Rosenvanger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Molsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Svinsbjærg's Bobby Danly, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Svinsbjærg. Terkel Rodmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joachim Brannet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mortimer Kyhl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sønderhå's zone, Jozef Rosenvanger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Molsø came out of the goal and Jozef Rosenvanger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Jozef Rosenvanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svinsbjærg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jozef Rosenvanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jozef Rosenvanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Molsø having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Svinsbjærg's zone, Terkel Rodmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mortimer Kyhl came out of the goal and Terkel Rodmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joachim Brannets short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Mortimer Kyhl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Jimi Stroustrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Bobby Danly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svinsbjærg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lynge Rydgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Molsø having to interfere. Sønderhå's Michel Molsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Rosenvanger in the 47th minute of play. The Sønderhå players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Svinsbjærg were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Terkel Rodmann to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Valentin Etved fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Michel Molsø, passed just outside the right post. Bøje Hassebjerg was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 57 played minutes, Svinsbjærg's Alf Byrning shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michel Molsø came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Svinsbjærg reached it. Jimi Stroustrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mortimer Kyhl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Brannet, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Michel Molsø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobby Danly in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Sønderhå's Michel Molsø got control of the ball when Bobby Danly tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Svinsbjærg's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Brannet came free, but Mortimer Kyhl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Brannet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mortimer Kyhl having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nis Jybert in the 91st minute of play forced Sønderhå's goalkeeper Michel Molsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Jimi Stroustrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nis Jybert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michel Molsø. That made the score 1-2 in the 96 minute of play. The Svinsbjærg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
