The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Birger Hederidder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Gotha stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Watarz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. SamiJames FC's Stefan Watarz got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SamiJames FC booed when Skodborg SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Høwisch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Skodborg SIK's zone, Stefan Watarz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Gotha came out of the goal and Stefan Watarz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Stefan Watarz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Gotha was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Michael Høwisch fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skodborg SIK's protests and gave Michael Høwisch a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes into the match, Stefan Watarz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Skodborg SIK's Pablo Gotha. Pablo Gotha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Watarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Skodborg SIK booed when SamiJames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmi Soltoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Watarz in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pablo Gotha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Charley Robrahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pablo Gotha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Gotha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Watarz's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Højgaard made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Stefan Watarz made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Gotha. Skodborg SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jimmy Kibak Olsen's late challenge caught a Skodborg SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Kibak Olsen helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Wilhelm Bøhrnsen in the 60th minute really tested Falco Ruiter's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Stefan Watarz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SamiJames FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Watarz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Gotha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Watarz's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Birger Hederidder struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Pablo Gotha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SamiJames FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Watarz in the 72nd minute of play forced Skodborg SIK's goalkeeper Pablo Gotha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charley Robrahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stefan Watarz took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Gotha. Pablo Gotha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. SamiJames FC's Charley Robrahn got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stefan Watarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charley Robrahn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pablo Gotha. Skodborg SIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SamiJames FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
