Flying Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SamiJames FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Flying Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Lengtved to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Charley Robrahn in the 11th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Birkan Selim's left hand side. If Birger Hederidder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Flying Eagles booed when SamiJames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Gassov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asmind Lou during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birkan Selim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Watarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Flying Eagles getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ken Glinter hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Hederidder in the 36th minute of play forced Flying Eagles's goalkeeper Birkan Selim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flying Eagles's Birkan Selim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Watarz in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Watarz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birkan Selim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 41 minutes, Charley Robrahn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SamiJames FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charley Robrahn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asmind Lou to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Eagles's zone, Timmi Soltoft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birkan Selim came out of the goal and Timmi Soltoft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charley Robrahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Watarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birkan Selim having to interfere. If Stefan Watarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Watarz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Birkan Selim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SamiJames FC. In the 88thth minute of the game Stefan Watarz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flying Eagles's Birkan Selim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Eagles's zone, Charley Robrahn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birkan Selim came out of the goal and Charley Robrahn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
