Askild Ierst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Brosø in the 12th minute of the match. Askild Ierst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Brosø, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Markus Wilcken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayer FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Årup the free kick. Markus Wilcken kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Micky Vinta might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Mira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 43 minutes on the clock, Jann Korekilde commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Årup! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 46 played minutes, when Bayer FC:s Ivar Vanlandeghem calmly waited for Årup:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Markus Wilcken hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nikolas Geshavn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Geshavn in the 57th minute of play forced Bayer FC's goalkeeper André Mira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Mira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolas Geshavn in the 58th minute. If Nikolas Geshavn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Ivar Vanlandeghem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Bayer FC's goalkeeper André Mira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolas Geshavn. Sigurd Kaster might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Mira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sigurd Kaster ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Brosø in the 75th minute of play forced Årup's goalkeeper Askild Ierst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Årup's Ernest Schneevoigt got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Einar Brosø in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Askild Ierst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Årup's Nikolas Geshavn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. André Mira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolas Geshavn, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Einar Brosø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Askild Ierst. Årup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Einar Brosø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Årup were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
