The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Randers United's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the match, Super LB's goal looked a bit too open when Erhardt Kreutz came free, but Claes Andresen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Super LB's Walder Groll slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jozef Sebelin. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. In the 17th play minute Asgar Breiting came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jozef Sebelin. 2-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Randers United's goalkeeper Jozef Sebelin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Randers United's goal looked a bit too open when Walder Groll came free, but Jozef Sebelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Randers United's Konstantin Syme made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Andresen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Konstantin Syme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folmar Elberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jozef Sebelin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Asgar Breiting sent off a good shot on target. Albert Hesselbo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Randers United were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walder Groll stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Albert Hesselbo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Randers United's protests and gave Albert Hesselbo a yellow card for diving instead. Jozef Sebelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asgar Breiting in the 98th minute of the match. The Randers United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
