If Bøje Greenaae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niki Bracker didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Bøje Greenaae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niki Bracker having to interfere. Poul Grunfeld's late challenge caught a Saxild's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Saxild got a freekick which was hit by Ted Tauris. After some careless play in the Saxild defense, Bøje Greenaae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niki Bracker. The Saxild fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niki Bracker should have stopped the shot. Egon Halvgaard took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niki Bracker. Niki Bracker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Kenny Dalsgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mikkel Vormark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Dalsgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkel Vormark having to interfere. Tage Adsbøl kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. fc ivana's Bøje Greenaae got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niki Bracker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhardt Arel in the 87th minute of play. Egon Halvgaard hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Niki Bracker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bøje Greenaae in the 96th minute of play. Saxild's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
