Diernisse's Mohamed Jøland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Borris in the 3rd minute of play. Helge Guthkjer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Paw Richsoue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Hallelev were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Diernisse booed when Hallelev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terkel Kirkemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes Diernisse got a freekick which was hit by Olfert Erit. Felix Jelbak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mohamed Jøland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felix Jelbak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Claus Borris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Mohamed Jøland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gabriel Brixstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diernisse's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Brixstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paw Richsoue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohamed Jøland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claus Borris in the 70th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Hallelev got a corner. Diernisse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ken Karlthon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Jelbak in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Jøland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helge Guthkjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Claus Borris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claus Borris's late challenge caught a Diernisse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claus Borris helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over Hallelev could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Diernisse throughout the match.
