After 33 minutes, Gabriel Brixstein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diernisse and the Saxild players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Diernisse getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gabriel Brixstein hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, Saxild's Kenny Dalsgaard made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Jøland was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Augustinus Maya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Jøland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helge Guthkjer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niki Bracker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustinus Maya was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Diernisse's zone, Augustinus Maya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Jøland came out of the goal and Augustinus Maya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Diernisse's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Dalsgaard came free, but Mohamed Jøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Diernisse's goal looked a bit too open when Augustinus Maya came free, but Mohamed Jøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Diernisse players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saxild.
