Herman Ekelow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Singers's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Kirkeby's goal looked a bit too open when Visti Hougens came free, but Herman Ekelow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Braune hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Visti Hougens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herman Ekelow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Ekelow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Singers in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Singers in the 25th minute of play forced Kirkeby's goalkeeper Herman Ekelow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Kirkeby's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Helmerstad came free, but Herman Ekelow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Fjaltring's Leif Singers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herman Ekelow was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st match minute, Kirkeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Braune to maneuver through the defense. Fjaltring's Visti Hougens got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Leif Singers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herman Ekelow. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Loke Vidiendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavrits Bernth, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Lavrits Bernth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loke Vidiendal having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Maurits Klithauge in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kirkeby's Sven Kvarnbo. Herman Ekelow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Singers in the 92nd minute of the match. If Lavrits Bernth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Fjaltring supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fjaltring would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
