Højby Fc's Ole Bøgens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Højby Fc from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes, Egil Ternov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Højby Fc and the Norring SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Hasholt in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole Bøgens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Johnny Bernekilde, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ole Bøgens was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Omar Sandbech charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Sandbech the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Norring SIK! The goalkeeper, Karl Rickfors, was totally fooled by Højby Fc's Egil Ternov, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Højby Fc's goalkeeper Ole Bøgens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erhard Botorp got free with Karl Rickfors in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute, Sigvald Mikmak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ole Bøgens was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Højby Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Norring SIK.
