The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurits Hauvil during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franck Bardevig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sepp Skands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Bardevig in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bobby Mülverstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Bobby Mülverstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sepp Skands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sepp Skands made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Richard Prenter sent off a good shot on target. Pelle Geddebro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchior Sventilius went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Richard Prenter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sophus Gunvald made a kick off. When Justin Kilsdal fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monstrup's protests and gave Justin Kilsdal a yellow card for diving instead. Justin Kilsdal hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Melchior Sventilius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Franck Bardevig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Skands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchior Sventilius got free with Pelle Geddebro in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monstrup's Pelle Geddebro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sophus Gunvald in the 71st minute of play. Monstrup's Richard Prenter got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Franck Bardevig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Skands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sepp Skands came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Monstrup's Richard Prenter. But to his dismay, Richard Prenter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Sepp Skands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franck Bardevig, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
