Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Marbjærg's Arvid Engsharth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Arvid Engsharth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Frejsman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Arvid Engsharth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Rekler having to interfere. Klavs Højvod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejvin Brewaeys in the 13th minute of play. When Arvid Engsharth in the 17th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Julius Rekler kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Klavs Højvod didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ejvin Brewaeys went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Klavs Højvod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ejvin Brewaeys's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Ejvin Brewaeys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Faarup SIK's zone, Arvid Engsharth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Rekler came out of the goal and Arvid Engsharth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Boje Kronborg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faarup SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ejvin Brewaeys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Klavs Højvod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Ejvin Brewaeys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klavs Højvod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ove Skjoldlykke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Skjoldlykke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Rekler having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 62 minutes, Ove Skjoldlykke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marbjærg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Skjoldlykke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvid Engsharth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Julius Rekler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marbjærg getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marthin Andix hit a great ball. A hard shot 85 in the game by Boje Kronborg from a close distance when the talented Klavs Højvod managed to make a qualified save. Marbjærg's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Engsharth in the 87th minute of play forced Faarup SIK's goalkeeper Julius Rekler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Ejvin Brewaeys reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Klavs Højvod. The goal made the score 1-3. Julius Rekler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Engsharth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Faarup SIK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Marbjærg had held the ball for most of the match.
