Werner Fonskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Dreist having to interfere. When Eddi Botha came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Rumperup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddi Botha couldn't finish the play. Svenåge Hvilendal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddy Toxholm went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Rumperup's Walentin Krandrup nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Svenåge Hvilendal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Anthon Killerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nörbek SIK's Svenåge Hvilendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walentin Krandrup in the 33rd minute of play. Eddy Toxholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svenåge Hvilendal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Walentin Krandrup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nörbek SIK's Svenåge Hvilendal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eddy Toxholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Calabuig's late challenge caught a Rumperup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Calabuig helped the player get up and apologised. Anders Calabuig kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Werner Fonskov got free with Frederick Dreist in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Nörbek SIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rumperup were winning 0-2.

The referee ignored Nörbek SIK's protests and gave Jimmi Rødland a yellow card for diving instead. Jimmi Rødland hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Nörbek SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eddy Toxholm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Rumperup supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rumperup would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
