After 30 minutes of play, horslunde's Casper Bertelsen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee ignored horslunde's protests and gave Sigfred Sundvig a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to horslunde getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sigfred Sundvig hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Gordon Ramhøj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casper Bertelsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kristjan Engelbøl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balder Serre scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristjan Engelbøl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Åstrup AC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
