After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hektor Bonnerup managed to get in a good position for a shot. werder bremen's supporters rose to their feet, but Hektor Bonnerup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Simonsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hektor Bonnerups short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Otto Simonsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hektor Bonnerup in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Simonsen saved Gadbjerg SIK from getting behind. After 32 played minutes werder bremen got a freekick which was hit by Valther Snæbum. Dario Wohlert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otto Simonsen. Gadbjerg SIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Arvid Dernoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. werder bremen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvid Dernoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gadbjerg SIK's zone, Hektor Bonnerup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Simonsen came out of the goal and Hektor Bonnerup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Lorenzo Gau got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hektor Bonnerup to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hektor Bonnerup in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Simonsen saved Gadbjerg SIK from getting behind. Otto Simonsen came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by werder bremen's Hektor Bonnerup. But to his dismay, Hektor Bonnerup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Hektor Bonnerup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gadbjerg SIK's Otto Simonsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arvid Dernoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Edgar Sværke fired a really elegant long shot, but Deng Xun Lei threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Gadbjerg SIK's Otto Simonsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hektor Bonnerup in the 96th minute of play. werder bremen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
