Poco Loco's Mikkel Hirsbro managed to work through Hallendrup's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mikkel Hirsbro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Kim Mellerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Nancke's late challenge caught a Poco Loco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiktor Nancke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Wiktor Nancke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikkel Hirsbro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Schram having to interfere. Kim Mellerup succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. 22 minutes into the match, Poco Loco's goal looked a bit too open when Rubert Pejbøl came free, but Christian Vieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Vieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Nancke in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Vilmar Fock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Vieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Vieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubert Pejbøl in the 31st minute of the match. Kim Mellerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hallendrup's Sigvard Schram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Hirsbro in the 36th minute of play. Kim Mellerup succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Christian Vieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubert Pejbøl in the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Hallendrup's Sigvard Schram got control of the ball when Kim Mellerup tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubert Pejbøl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Vieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubert Pejbøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Vieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Nancke in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hallendrup's goalkeeper Sigvard Schram, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hallendrup's Sigvard Schram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Mellerup in the 61st minute of play. Sigvard Schram came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Poco Loco's Kim Mellerup. But to his dismay, Kim Mellerup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 75th minute, Rubert Pejbøl fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Poco Loco's goalkeeper Christian Vieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilmar Fock. Poco Loco's Kim Mellerup got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Rubert Pejbøl made a precise shot to the right of Christian Vieri. Poco Loco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Lennart Bodrup fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poco Loco's protests and gave Lennart Bodrup a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Kim Mellerup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poco Loco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Mellerup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
