Grønninghove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svenstrup the free kick. Caco Furlan struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Mouritz Fyrstendorf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grønninghove. Caco Furlan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Grønninghove's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 15th minute Olle Korshavn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouritz Fyrstendorf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Svenstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Oldgreen to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes, Grønninghove's Caco Furlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mouritz Fyrstendorf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grønninghove reached it. Walther Baumbach kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Didrik Moerck notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grønninghove's Lars Aalbæk. Lars Aalbæk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Aalbæk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Meillier in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Grønninghove got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosius Skovfod. Grønninghove's Lars Aalbæk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walther Baumbach in the 32nd minute of play. Lars Aalbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Ørdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Caco Furlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svenstrup's Mouritz Fyrstendorf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Henry Ørdam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svenstrup and the Grønninghove players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Ernst Frengler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mouritz Fyrstendorf. The goal made the score 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Ørdam was the one to do the kick off. Lars Aalbæk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Ørdam in the 56th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Svenstrup got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Salvador. Svenstrup's Mouritz Fyrstendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Frengler in the 61st minute of play. Didrik Moerck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Lars Aalbæk made a huge save. Caco Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Grønninghove defense, Henry Ørdam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Aalbæk. The Grønninghove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Aalbæk should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Grønninghove's zone, Henry Ørdam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Aalbæk came out of the goal and Henry Ørdam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Walther Baumbach fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svenstrup's protests and gave Walther Baumbach a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Svenstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walther Baumbach to maneuver through the defense. If Henry Ørdam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Olle Korshavn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grønninghove's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Korshavn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mouritz Fyrstendorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grønninghove's Lars Aalbæk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Grønninghove from getting a goal against them. When Alexander Salvador fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svenstrup's protests and gave Alexander Salvador a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Alexander Salvador hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Grønninghove booed when Svenstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Ørdam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mouritz Fyrstendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Frengler in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Ørdam in the 91st minute of play forced Grønninghove's goalkeeper Lars Aalbæk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Didrik Moerck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svenstrup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Lars Aalbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Ørdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Svenstrup's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
