Jari Valsing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bjarke Berthelin. Kielstrup's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tom Koppenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjarke Berthelin having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Joachim Marking hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gotfred Hladik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjarke Berthelin having to interfere. If Tom Koppenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathies Klaehr to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Terry Pryning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heine Reinø was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The supporters of Kielstrup booed when Gantrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 71 minutes, Mathies Klaehr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kielstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathies Klaehr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gantrup SIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mathies Klaehr 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. In the 79th minute, Aksel Holmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes, Gantrup SIK's Ib Gannik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bjarke Berthelin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gantrup SIK reached it. Terry Pryning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Gantrup SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Terry Pryning fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gotfred Hladik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathies Klaehr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Mathies Klaehr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heine Reinø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Gotfred Hladik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjarke Berthelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kielstrup eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
