The supporters of F. C. Copenhagen booed when Ager AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Svolgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ager AC's Eg Bilgrav got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 21st minute Sigismund Pryds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Bødskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Ernest Milsgaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herman Bødskov skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the F. C. Copenhagen defense, Terri Baldursson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Bødskov. The F. C. Copenhagen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Bødskov should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Martin Kyrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Bødskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigismund Pryds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F. C. Copenhagen's goalkeeper Herman Bødskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertold Avike hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, F. C. Copenhagen's Per Rolding broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Piet Adelsbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrestian Standfort, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Terri Baldursson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ager AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F. C. Copenhagen the free kick. Eg Bilgrav fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Bødskov having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigismund Pryds in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Bødskov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eg Bilgrav had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piet Adelsbæk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Rolding's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Toke Kragholt came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the F. C. Copenhagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toke Kragholt couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, F. C. Copenhagen's Berndt Vyk got a free kick in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ager AC's Ernest Milsgaard tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Per Rolding kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. F. C. Copenhagen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sigismund Pryds 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. F. C. Copenhagen's Herman Bødskov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save F. C. Copenhagen from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, F. C. Copenhagen's Herman Bødskov got control of the ball when Eg Bilgrav tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ager AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
