Mean Killin´ Machine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Johnni Buchart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Nordø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstantin Nordø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnni Buchart having to interfere.

59 minutes into the match, hvidovre 88's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Byrholm came free, but Rune Rahlf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mean Killin´ Machine booed when hvidovre 88 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Lemborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. hvidovre 88 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
