Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henning Otfelt started the match with the kick off. Ulrich Olderman came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by The Danish Guards's Torgny Månsson. But to his dismay, Torgny Månsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ulrich Olderman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Palmquist in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, The Danish Guards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esben Lønby to maneuver through the defense. The Danish Guards's Tony Schiøtte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save The Danish Guards from getting a goal against them. When The Danish Guards's Torgny Månsson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smalby's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Smalby's Henning Otfelt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Schiøtte. Tony Schiøtte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Tony Schiøtte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Ehlert in the 20th minute. Tony Schiøtte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Otfelt in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolaj Trudheim in the 22nd minute of play forced The Danish Guards's goalkeeper Tony Schiøtte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Smalby getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nikolaj Trudheim hit a great ball. Henning Otfelt scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Schiøtte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Thomas Palmquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Danish Guards's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Palmquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulrich Olderman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Smalby's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Månsson came free, but Ulrich Olderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Smalby got a freekick which was hit by Gregers Rundkvist. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tony Schiøtte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Ehlert, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Torgny Månsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ulrich Olderman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Danish Guards. Tony Schiøtte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Otfelt in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Henning Otfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smalby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Otfelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute of the match Esben Lønby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulrich Olderman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tony Schiøtte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Otfelt in the 68th minute of play. Tony Schiøtte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Otfelt in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Torgny Månsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulrich Olderman. The goal made the score 2-2. A collision led to The Danish Guards getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Timmy Tvistholm hit a great ball. After 81 minutes of play, Smalby's Olaf Stenhejn made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Schiøtte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olaf Stenhejn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tony Schiøtte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
