In the 19th minute, Jens Froberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melkior Fevel. The goal made the score 1-0. After 27 minutes of play, Strande's Kristen Bjergø made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torben Fosvang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kristen Bjergø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jens Froberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melkior Fevel having to interfere. Strande's Melkior Fevel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Strande from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Strande booed when FC Hørby efterskole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Rendtslev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Ansgar Underbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkior Fevel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Kristen Bjergø notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of FC Hørby efterskole's Torben Fosvang.
