FC ROYAL's Christian Ives proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC ROYAL from getting a goal against them. FC ROYAL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Magnus Rolang scored to the left of an out of position Christian Ives, making the score, 2-1. Kozanli Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pekka Roihuvuori came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Kozanli Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pekka Roihuvuori couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Pekka Roihuvuori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Ives took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekka Roihuvuori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Sigfred Nannsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kozanli Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. If Marco Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
